Christian Hawkey’s poetry has appeared in numerous journals, including Conjunctions, Volt, Tin House, and Best American Poetry. He has published several books of poetry, Hues for the Watchman (1999),The Book of Funnels (2004) and Citizen Of (2007). In 2006, Hawkey received the Creative Capital Innovative Literature Award. Hawkey teaches at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn.
