For over 25 years, The American Poetry Review has proudly partnered with Copper Canyon Press to celebrate the art of poetry through the Honickman First Book Prize. Today, we are thrilled to embark on a new chapter, inviting poets aged 50 and over, regardless of previous publication to share their unique perspectives and talents in a new book prize honoring the legacy of great American poet Gerald Stern: The Stern Prize.
