Joe Wenderoth
You

in a dream I was as much alone

as dreams require

though you sat beside me

in an ugly little theater

a dull movie playing—

if I looked up

it's all I could see

I barely looked up

I was listening to you

as you watched

I had nothing of my own

I had this dream
